"It's uncomfortable"

Admittedly, solidarity and equitable tourism don't amount to a prestige tourism, but don't confuse. All the conditions are united to make the travellers feel good during the stay.

Inside the Keur Samba Yacine village, travellers are housed in thatch roof huts specially made for them. Comfort is simple but sufficient in this special kind of stay. Travallers' intimacy is protected since huts only offer double rooms. A hut is reserved for families (couple with 2 or 3 children). This « family » hut is made up of a living room, two bedrooms (one double bed, and two or even three simple beds) with a bathroom in each (shower and WC with buckets). Every beds are equiped with mosquito nets. There is neither electricity nor running water in the huts. However, a tap in the courtyard can be used by the travellers every time they need water (laundry, shower with a bucket,...). Altogether, there are 4 shower cubicles and 5 toilets.

"It's expensive"

It all depends on what is included or not in your trip. The journey lasts generally 15 days with full board, with excursions and various activities in the village and surrounding area. Moreover, when you decide to buy a solidarity and fair trip, you support sustenable development projetcs of the destination in question. Indeed, by travelling with the Palabres sans Frontières association, you already know that on journey's price, 49% are directly transfered to the village and invested in collective interest projects (health post's functioning, reforestation, schools renovation, …).

"It's not for me"

Our trip is almost for all ages. We recommend to parents to travel with children from the age of 5. It is a group or individual trip for families with children, retired people, young people...

Our journey meets a great majority of travellers' expectations since it offers a good way to discover a country in being close to local people while feeling safe. It is a good compromise for those who do not want to stay in a hotel club but who do not feel comfortable in travelling own their own.
