Proof of stringency

The whole project (touristic activity and development plans) is developed and managed in close partnership with local communities and their representatives since 2003. The Palabres sans Frontières association receives support from among others: Midi Pyrénées region, the Haute Garonne area local council, the Minestry of Youth, Sports and Communauty Services, the tour operators Verdié Voyage and Traveldif, etc.

Proof of security

We assure to our travellers an individualized reception as soon as they arrive on the Senegalese soil where a chauffeur is waiting for you. The welcoming committee takes overs as soon as the group arrives at Keur Samba Yacine. Travellers are always accompagned by several villagers for all the outings planed outside of the village. A security man sleeps in the guest huts every night. Travellers only have to put down their lugage and get carried away by the everyday life of the villagers who will be glad to share their activities ands their traditions.

Proof of openness

The association commits to give a realistic description of the services' content as well as a consciousness raising for the solidarity and fair tourism. Customer satisfaction survey is made after each trip with a return of the assessment.

Proof of equity

Palabres sans Frontières is commited to make your journey beneficial to local people. Out of the total of your stay, 39% are assigned to the village for the services (housing, food, activities) and 10% destined for supporting the health post management (purchase of medicine, the midwife's salary). A village's management committee splits ressources in a fair way, by favorising the financing of collective interest projects.
